Kate is one of the most relaxed brides I've ever worked with. She didn't rush around or worry much about much of anything. She sat in the makeup chair and talked and laughed with all of us, snuck up on her Groom for the first look (that I recommend EVERYONE do) and said her vows while a storm approached.

The rain stayed away until we were finished getting some group shots and they had just announced the newly married couple when the storm totally engulfed the reception. Storm clouds swirled, winds blew plates and cups away and finally the rain sent the DJ scrambling for plastic to cover his equipment.

And after all of that, Kate and Steven danced their first dance inside a small room in a historical house with the help of an ipod and a portable speaker. Lightning danced in the background of their party until everyone had said their goodbyes. Its safe to say that this Bride handled this particular wedding the best that anyone could have :)
